Chef/Owner Scott Pelletier has been cooking since his grandmother, Mimi, taught him to make split pea soup at a young age. He took that lesson and ran with it. He attended UNH for business and then on to the California Culinary Academy for his true passion. Scott’s had a remarkable journey — he worked at the Elka Gilmore owned Liberte which was awarded ”10 Best New Restaurants in the US” by Esquire Magazine. Chef Scott then moved to Coconut Grove a high-end jazz club owned by Jeffery Inahara we continued to hone his skills.
After Pelletier moved back to Portland, ME, he opened and sold 3 four-star restaurants. A family man now, Scott has 2 children and 2 fuse locations. His fuse bistro in Lowell has been on the Phantom Gourmet for 3 separate recordings, The Dish on Channel 7, FOXNews, Merrimack Valley Magazine, Howl Magazine, and the Boston Globe. Scott uses local ingredients to source his seasonal menu and is happy to start serving Westford.
